Finding a new use for big warehouse in Bellingham, could inspire Key Arena in Seattle?

Not real long after the last toilet paper rolls leave former Georgia Pacific paper mill warehouse in Bellingham, a new use for most of that facility has been found.

Unpacking baby furniture for a Canadian company called Stork Craft.

Pretty impressive that they found a new use that soon. Other parts of the old GP site will take a long time for cleanup and redevelopment. Warehouse is more ready to go.

Port of Bellingham is taking over management of the facility as part of waterfront redevelopment after closure of GP.

Maybe Seattle can find a new use for Key Arena now that the Sonics basketball team has moved to Oklahoma. There are other uses.

Sports, toilet paper, furniture. It's all business.

Long ago, I remember news that the roof of Seattle Coliseum (later to become Key Arena) was being used as a ski jump. That use just lasted for one rare snowstorm.

Creative minds can think of something.

Warehouse? Whorehouse? For a while, Wallace, Idaho had a bordello museum.

It's all business.

I've often thought they should name pro teams after corporations rather than cities. Then the teams could move around at will with even less worry about geographic loyalty.

I find a lot of businesses and activities in society to be interesting, but I'm not much of a sports fan.
