We are fortunate to have a lot of products using light emitting diodes available these days. Many can be retrofitted as bicycle lights. Most recently, I found Larry 8 by Nebo. Can clip right to the front brake or gearshift cables. Easy to install and take off and place in one's pocket to prevent theft when parked. Bright light. Uses regular AAA batteries.
I also have the other shop light I got a few years back.
