Has been there since Autumn 2013. Purple Church is each Friday except for summer months. 8:30 to 10 PM. $3 suggested donation. It's a free form dance versus a form of dance where one has to follow certain steps. People dance by themselves, or connecting with whoever they want in groups and so forth. Inclusive of all ages and many backgrounds. Eclectic music. Colunteer energy and DJing. Dances started at Fairhaven College back in the late 1970s. The event has migrated to several locations over the years.

Other activities in Bell Tower Studios include salsa dancing, yoga and so forth. Several activities make use of the space throughout the week.

In 2013 season, dances were in the old (before 1950s) YMCA gym on Holly St. This building is apartments with a Zumba studio in the old gym and a bar called The Star Club in front. Between it's time as the YMCA and now, it was the Odd Fellows Hall.

Between 1995 and 2013, dances were in this building, An old German Language Lutheran church which later became Unitarian Church. Now it's a house, located in the York Neighborhood of Bellingham.
