At least on Google Plus, I think I can set it for "accessible to open web." My Facebook wall still requires joining Facebook, but that's where most of the interaction is in reader comments.
I share longer essays and some pictures on my blog, when the mood comes my way.
Facebook is where I get the most interaction from. It has the inertia for me.
