There's an old phrase that goes "talk is cheap." That phrase is often used to degrade the value of conversation, versus something more pragmatic like earning money, building something or doing something.
On the other hand, conversation is affordable. Intelligent conversation can be a valuable way to spend time and make human connections that doesn't usually require money.
