Maybe Republicans should advocate an income tax increase to pay for their war.

The Defense (or the War) Department wants more more money due to the war with Iran and spreading to other areas. I wonder when and if Republicans would ever say that there needs to be an increase in income taxes? People sacrificed during WWII when they thought that was necessary.

I remember the phrase "Guns and butter" during the the Vietnam War.
