One slightly arthritic ankle has bothered me for years while dancing and walking, but not while biking. A doctor recommended remidy is new shoes, better arch support and so forth.
Bike traveling to the north side of I-5 in Bellingham where the boxstores are is like a trip in itself. Improving bike access has allowed me to avoid the rat race.
