Freedom of thought is more important to me than prosperity. I think of prosperity as a byproduct of innovative societies.

I think of prosperity as being a byproduct of innovation and freedom of thought. Even though it seems like most countries strive for prosperity, authoritarian regimes seldom, if ever achieve it. More innovative societies often do. To me, the ability to innovate is more important than the prosperity itself.
